The Dallas Cowboys are going to be without center Cooper Beebe for some time. Initial reports are that it is going to be 6-8 weeks.
It is officially being reported as a high-ankle sprain for Beebe which lines up with his ankle being swollen
in the aftermath of Sunday’s win over the New York Giants. Beebe actually exited the game right before overtime began and Brock Hoffman played center for the entire extra period.
Hoffman is likely the answer at center over the next couple of months and a legitimate option. Still though, Beebe has really impressed in his short time with the Cowboys and this is a significant blow to the heart of the offensive line.
Given the state of the Cowboys schedule, and the report of 6-8 weeks, it stands to reason that Beebe will likely be out through the team’s bye week.
