Lamar Jackson’s much-awaited return lasted just one play before he suffered a thumb injury, which sidelined him for the rest of the game. Then, backup Tyler Huntley exited the game after 10 snaps with a toe injury, opening the door for No. 3 quarterback Joe Fagnano to play the final 40 offensive reps under center. In the backfield, Justice Hill’s 25 snaps slightly exceeded Derrick Henry’s total (23).
It was a surprising zero-catch day for Zay Flowers, who was targeted five times in 42 snaps. Rashod
Bateman played three less snaps than Flowers and caught one pass, as did Ja’Kobi Lane (33 snaps). Since returning from injury, Lane has clearly assumed the No. 3 wide receiver role, relegating Devontez Walker to a reduced snap count (8 plays).
The snap breakdown at tight end was more of the same as well, with Mark Andrews leading the group in playing time (29 snaps). Matthew Hibner had zero catches again in 21 snaps, while Josh Cuevas caught one pass for 15 yards in only 13 snaps. Blocking tight end Nick Vannett recorded 11 reps on offense.
On the offensive line, Andrew Vorhees got the start at right guard over Emery Jones Jr. and played 45 snaps. The other five starters all played the entire game (51 snaps). Backups Chuma Edoga and Carson Vinson combined to play eight snaps between the two of them.
Defense

- EDGE: Trey Hendrickson 48, Mike Green 47, Zion Young 35, Ethan Burke 34
- ILB: Roquan Smith 52, Trenton Simpson 52, Teddye Buchanan 44

- S: Malaki Starks 77, Kyle Hamilton 78, K’Von Wallace 47, Keondre Jackson 12
The Ravens’ defense played 82 total snaps against the Bills as the offense had multiple turnovers and short drives, forcing them to get back on the field. As a result, several players saw elevated snap counts compared to previous weeks, such as defensive backs K’Von Wallace (47 snaps) and Chidobe Awuzie (43 snaps), and front seven players Ethan Burke (34 snaps) and Broderick Washington (37).
Nnamdi Madubuike once again paced the front seven in playing time with Travis Jones playing the second-most snaps behind him. Madubuike had a half-sack and two quarterback hits, which led the team. In his season-high 37 snaps, Washington corralled his first career interception. Campbell and Jenkins combined to play 53 snaps.
Trey Hendrickson and Mike Green were neck-and-neck in snaps at edge rusher, followed by Zion Young and Burke — who were also just one snap apart. Roquan Smith exited the game briefly with an injury but returned to play 52 total snaps, racking up 11 tackles, two pass breakups and a forced fumble. Teddye Buchanan saw his most action of the season with 44 snaps at linebacker.
At cornerback, T.J. Tampa returned from injury and played 22 snaps, jumping Keyon Martin slightly in playing time. Nate Wiggins matched his snap total from last week (53), while Awuzie almost tied Marlon Humphrey in plays. Malaki Starks and Kyle Hamilton were the only defensive players with greater than 56 snaps, nearly going the distance.
