AEW knows what’s good for business. A little bit of Hobbs goes a long way. Now, AEW is serving a whole lot of Hobbs on the Blood & Guts special episode of Dynamite. That’s good business.
Those big ole women
in San Antonio were just a warm-up for Will Hobbs.
Powerhouse flexed his muscle slamming Hangman Page off stage and breaking Hook’s back. As a result, AEW is rewarding Hobbs with a primo matchup against the cowboy in Falls Count Anywhere at Blood & Guts on November 12.
The storyline idea is for Hobbs to weaken Hangman prior to the AEW world title defense against Samoa Joe at Full Gear. Hobbs and Hangman have only wrestled each other once before in singles action. Back in 2021, Page executed the Deadeye piledriver on Hobbs to win. It will be interesting to see if Hangman repeats that method of victory with more violence off the stage, much like Hobbs just did to him.
What’s your excitement level for Hangman Page versus Will Hobbs in Falls Count Anywhere?
