What is the story about?

Other Notes
- As always, remember that this is the initial 53-man roster. The full roster is below.
- DT Mike Hall Jr is on the roster after passing his physical.
- Cleveland only has two running backs for now, something which will change probably with the waiver wire. It’s possible there could be news on RB Quinshon Judkins are some point too I suppose, but we haven’t heard anything on that and aren’t counting on it.
- Dustin Hopkins was cut, losing the kicker battle to Andre Szymt.
- Five undrafted free agents made the team: WR Gage Larvadain, DT Adin Huntington, LB Easton Mascarenas-Arnold, CB Dom Jones, and S Donovan McMillon.
- Players who made the roster who aren’t the most household of names include TE Brenden Bates, DE Cameron Thomas, and CB Dom Jones. My guess is that Bates would be one of the first players to go at the expense of a waiver claim.
- WR Diontae Johnson didn’t make it. After his departure from the Steelers a few years ago, his career has gone downhill. If he can’t make it with the Browns, it’s hard to imagine a team giving him another shot, especially on a 53-man roster.
- I only got 47/53 (88.7%) correct on my 53-man roster projection. However, that trade of QB Kenny Pickett could have bumped me up a number if I had adjusted for it. I wanted to keep three quarterbacks only, but gave in to all of the reports that were adamant that Cleveland was keeping four quarterbacks on the 53-man roster.
