The Indiana Pacers have received sad news today, as star guard Tyrese Haliburton has sustained a left hamstring injury and is scheduled to miss an as-yet-undetermined amount of time. Haliburton led the Pacers to the brink of winning the 2025 NBA Finals before suffering a torn right Achilles Tendon after trying to play through a calf strain in Game 7 of the series. That injury kept him out of the 2025-26 season entirely. Haliburton returned to action at the start of the current season, but now will
miss time with this new setback.
Shams Charania of ESPN reported the news of Haliburton’s new injury.
The former All-Star has played four games for the Pacers so far this season, averaging 21.8 points, 9.5 assists, and 4.5 rebounds in 33 minutes per game, shooting almost 52% from the floor.
The Pacers went 19-63 last season in Haliburton’s absence.
