A lot of wrestling fans were talking about TNA star Joe Hendry’s appearance
at NXT Homecoming this week. It sounded like Joe might be officially on the NXT roster when Bobby Roode addressed him by saying, “But now that you’re in NXT…”Following up on that segment, Jon Alba of The Takedown on SI now reports that Hendry is expected to be working full-time in WWE by the start of 2026.
“While many fans have speculated Joe Hendry is officially under WWE contract, that is not the case. However, sources indicate he is being phased off of TNA TV, as he’s expected to be WWE-bound full-time by the beginning of 2026.”
This report isn’t surprising, considering that Triple H, Randy Orton, and John Cena all believe in Joe Hendry. Triple H has even said that Hendry will do more WrestleMania events. With today’s report, we can now all speculate on who Hendry will share the ring with next year at WrestleMania 42 in New Orleans Saudi Arabia Las Vegas.
Do you look forward to hearing someone say Joe Hendry’s name on WWE programming each week in 2026? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
