Alessandro Bastoni’s name is reportedly back on Barcelona’s agenda as the Catalan look for more defensive strength.
The Inter star was heavily linked with a move to Camp Nou earlier in the year before Barcelona dropped their interest and opted to strengthen their attack instead.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Bastoni is back in the frame and the Inter star would be willing to listen to Barcelona despite “feeling very hurt” after a transfer failed to materialize.
Bastoni remains happy at Inter – a club
he considers home – where he has a contract until 2028 and is one of the club’s highest earners.
Yet the temptation of heading to Barcelona remains and could become a reality once again if Barcelona can find a way to finance a transfer.
MD say that Bastoni would like to talk to Flick and find out if he is indeed a priority for the Barcelona coach.
With Barca on the look-out for a new defender, it seems Bastoni is once again an option for the Catalans.
