The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 34-12 in Week 11 to improve to 6-4 on the season, but it didn’t come without controversy.
With just under 13 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter,
Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey and Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase got into a skirmish that led to Ramsey being ejected. The All-Pro defensive back hit the Bengals’ star in the face, which got him disqualified.
Speaking to the media after the game, Ramsey revealed that Chase had spit on him, which is why he reacted the way he did.
“He spit on me,” Ramsey said via Brendan Howe of Steelers Now. So it’s up. I don’t give a f*ck about football after that, respectfully.“
Chase denied spitting on Ramsey.
“I didn’t spit on nobody,” Chase said via Noah Hiles.
Luckily for the Steelers, the ejection didn’t affect them negatively
