Dan Quinn spoke to reporters in Madrid, Spain after today’s practice. The team is using Real Madrid’s facilities as they prepare to play the Miami Dolphins for the NFL’s first game in the country. He named LT Laremy Tunsil, DT Johnny Newton, and LB Nick Bellore as the team captains for Sunday’s game.
Joe Whitt Jr also talked to reporters after practice. He had his playcalling duties taken away by Dan Quinn after the team lost its 5th game in a row, and fourth game by more than 21 points. He said there
are no hard feelings, and there will always be change in this business. The bottom line is winning, and the team hasn’t been doing that recently. Whitt said the gameday operations will be similar to when Quinn was the DC in Dallas, and he will work in a similar role to when he was the Cowboys pass game coordinator/secondary coach.
