This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw opened with an interesting wrestler pulling up to the building for what she claimed was a meeting with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce: Jaida Parker from NXT.
We’ve had questions regarding her status in NXT for a while now, considering she got what was supposed to be a signature win over Natalya but could never quite break through to the women’s title picture in the WWE developmental program. There
wasn’t much left for her to do there, and her arrival here confirmed the company feels the same.
It was noteworthy she ran into The Bloodline. They were surprised to see her — Jey Uso looked downright troubled by her presence — but she feigned ignorance of any sort of issue related to anyone, and played innocent.
We learned in the main event segment it was a deke.
She straight up ran Jacob Fatu over with a car!
Holy shit!
Parker, of course, had ties to the group dating back to NXT, where she was a member of OTM before breaking off on her own to embark upon a singles run. Now, it seems, she’s back with the boys, and she just got one hell of a debut on the main roster.
