This first crossed my radar a few minutes ago when Cain Knight shared WrestleVotes post in the Cageside Offices. GM05 had already dropped it in The Feed:
I had to go and see if the shirt was still available online, so I hit up HotTopic.com for the first time since back in the pre-ALL IN days of prime BTE. Lo and behold, search for “Royal Rumble”, and there it is for all to see:
It’s down here were things get weird, obviously…
And we’re not just talking about the modern day Undertaker render on the supposedly
from 2000-2001 “poster”.
No, that’s just funny. Below the time-traveling Dead Man is someone who tragically died in 2009. Instead of an actual picture of the late Andrew “Test” Martin, however, there’s a picture of idle WWE talent Titus O’Neil.
That’s kinda funny? But not so much when you think how Test’s family might feel about it.
After visiting HotTopic.com, my next thought was to blame this on AI. But who knows? This could be something an overworked intern at WWE headquarters got careless with, or that some TKO marketing hire with no pro wrestling background got as a first assignment.
