Indiana men’s basketball landed its first transfer portal commitment of the 2026 offseason on Monday afternoon when Georgia Tech transfer guard Jaeden Mustaf announced his intentions to join the Hoosiers for the 2026-27 season via social media.
Mustaf, a rising junior, has spent the past two seasons playing a prominent role for the Yellow Jackets under former head coach Damon Stoudamire. He started for a stretch in the middle of his freshman
season in 2024-25 before taking on a starting role in 2025-26 when he averaged 10.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 27.8 minutes per game while shooting 43.3% from the field and 38.9% from 3-point range on low volume.
He played small forward at Georgia Tech and brings familiarity with the position to an Indiana program that’s prioritized wings since Darian DeVries was hired last offseason. Mustaf has the talent to be a strong difference-maker for the Hoosiers in 2026-27.
