Former New Orleans Saints defensive end Jonathan Bullard has found a new home in the Lone Star State. After spending the 2025 season in the black and gold, Bullard has agreed to terms on a 1 year, $2.5 million deal the Dallas Cowboys.
Bullard appeared in 15 games for the Saints last year with 26 total tackles and two pass deflections while playing within Brandon Staley’s defensive line rotations. While never putting up any gaudy numbers on the stat sheets, Bullard has made his presence known around
the league as a key depth player.
The 2016 third-round pick began his professional career as a member of the Chicago Bears. Following a three-year stint in the Windy City, he would go on to play with the Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, and Atlanta Falcons for one year each. Bullard would stop in Minnesota for a three-season stay with the Vikings before making his way to New Orleans in 2025.
Dallas’ signing of Bullard will reunite him with his former DL coach Marcus Dixon, both of whom were together in Minnesota in 2024. Bullard played in all 17 games for the Vikings in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
