Real Madrid’s president recently stated that the club, if he was reelected, would make a massive bid for a “Champions League player”, one that would break their own records. Bayern Munich, being one of the biggest clubs in the Champions League, happens to have some expensive players worthy of such a high roller bid, but that’s not the case.
In an interview captures by @iMiaSanMia, Perez was asked if Michael Olise was the player on Madrid’s radar. Based on Olise’s form and performance this season,
evident from the transition from Rookie of the Season to Player of the Season, it only makes sense that such a big club would value him so highly. But Perez had a negative response – “He’s a great player, but it’s not him.”
Ouch. Do they not think Olise is worth the money? The transfer bid would be around 150 million euros, which is exaggerated for any player ever, but its Mr. Nonchalant! Jokes aside, Bayern Munich is way better off keeping Olise than selling him for any amount of money.
Other reports also say that Perez has ruled out Bayern’s Harry Kane, Erling Haaland (with Kylian Mbappe as dictator in Madrid, it makes sense), and Jeremy Doku. Who else is left? At least, who else is worth 150 million euros? Let us know your guess in the comments!
