It should be more, but we will take it.
The Arizona Cardinals lead the Jacksonville Jaguars 14-10 at the half.
They’ve left points on the field, but they also have gotten some help from the officials in this one.
What matters is we saw a different defense after the first drive where the Jaguars went 97 yards in four plays, most of the on runs.
Since then, Nick Rallis and the defense have brought a litany of different blitzes, and they’ve paid off, the biggest was early where Jalen Thompson had a sack
fumble that was incredibly corralled by Walter Nolen who took it to the house for a touchdown.
That got the Cardinals on the board and tied things up 7-7.
The offense continues to pile up yards, but can’t consistently finish things as they have one touchdown on the day, but missed two throws before the half the Chad Ryland shanked a field goal that would have had the Cardinals up even more.
Hopefully that doesn’t come back to haunt them in the second half.
