Last week the New York Jets lost another winnable game at home, this time to a Las Vegas Raiders team that had lost four straight games before the Jets were kind enough to provide a Raiders victory. It was the Jets’ third straight loss and sixth in their last seven games. Another season missing the playoffs is now all but certain. Another lifeless, hopeless November and December loom. The Jets stink again. This is getting very old.
The loss to the Raiders gave the Jets a 2-6 record on the season.
Today the Jets are on the road at Arrowhead Stadium as they try to somehow upset Patrick Mahomes, Kenneth Walker and the 5-2 Chiefs. Let’s just say I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for an upset Jets victory here. Kickoff is scheduled for shortly after 1 PM EST.

Breece Hall will be back in action today. It will be interesting to see how Aaron Glenn and Frank Reich use Hall after Braelon Allen dominated in Hall’s absence.
The Chiefs have gotten the best of the Jets recently, winning four of the last five games these teams have played. Can the Jets somehow begin to right the ship with an upset today in Arrowhead? Stranger things have happened, I guess. We’ll find out soon enough.
It’s the Jets and the Chiefs in game 9 of the 2026 season. Enjoy the game everyone.
