How’d We Do Last Week?
As a refresher, each week I will feature the Most Accurate, Most interesting, and Most Wildly Inaccurate takes. Let’s get to it!
Most Wildly Inaccurate

Welp, J Love did NOT in fact get the Chili’s Triple Dipper. I think this week will be a lot more to Love (wink).
Most Interesting

It was the glorious return of the CFarris BBQ sauce takes. I’ve featured those before, but nothing quite like a little bathroom humor to lighten the mood after a loss. Shoutout the Godbacker for always making me laugh.
Most
Accurate

While this isn’t dead on, it more or less captures the sentiment of the game. Also, props to folks like JDriveSthND who don’t go all sunshine and rainbows. This game honestly was a mix of these two takes….ND came out flat, lost the turnover battle, and ND lost by 3. It felt worse than that, but ultimately we lost by 3 on the road against a top 10 team where we lost the turnover battle by 2 and our best player didn’t do much. Could have been worse…but such is life.
Now on to the Takes for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish as they take on the Texas A&M Aggies
Cold Take
Jeremiyah Love Gets His Mojo Back

Love was criminally underused to the dismay of anyone with eyeballs. He got involved late in the game, but there wasn’t much for him/he did everything he could. This will not be the case this week….Texas A&M has not been great against the run by any margin this year, and ND will capitalize. There will also be some “forcing” of the ball to him as well…..which should be the case because he makes things happen. Denbrock will lean on him early, which will ultimately soften things up for Carr, who I expect to carry on with another strong showing. Love will set career highs in touches by start middle of the third quarter.
Hot Take
ND either wins by 14+ or loses by 14+

I hate to say it, but this game goes 1 of 2 ways…..Either ND comes out with their hair on fire after Freeman challenged them for 2 straight weeks…..or these 2 lines played how they played last week….(which was pretty awful). A&M is coming off of 2 wins where they looked just ok, but had an abundance of explosive plays. If ND can limit those early and pressure Marcel Reed early, he will start to press. ND will want him having to come from behind, as he is a bit of a gunslinger with a history of being inaccurate, especially on deep balls. I think we will know early if ND has the juice in this one….and if they don’t I will be…..sad.
Your Takes: Please leave your takes below (hot, cold medium-any temp). I will feature the Top Takes next week. GO IRISH!
