Well, he’s back.
After much speculation that Aaron Donald would come out of retirement to join forces with Myles Garrett on the Los Angeles Rams, it’s now reportedly happening.
This news is certainly relevant to the Philadelphia Eagles, who will host the Rams at Lincoln Financial Field in Week 4.
How effective will the 35-year-old Donald be after originally retiring in the aftermath of the 2023 NFL season? That much remains to be seen. But it’s not hard to imagine he could still be a good contributor
for the Rams, who currently have the shortest betting odds to win Super Bowl LXI (which will be in LA at SoFi Stadium).
The Eagles have done a really good job of dealing with Donald in the past. Of course, that was also when Jeff Stoutland was their offensive line coach:
We’ll see if Chris Kuper and the Eagles’ offensive line meets the challenge of dealing with both Garrett and Donald.
