What is the story about?
It’s that time of year where teams are shaking up their front office structure and interviews are happening. We know that Sam Fuld was in the running to take the A’s president of baseball operations position, but that has apparently not come to pass.
Being tasked with leading the A’s into Las Vegas was apparently something that Fuld was not interested in, so he will remain with the Phillies. Of note, he is still the president of business operations with the Phillies, not baseball operations. One wonders if that job will be his if/when Dave Dombrowski decides to finally hang them up here in Philadelphia.
