While Sunday was a bit disappointing in a 4-1 loss to the Royals, the Braves were able to win the series and have a strong start to the season. More than anything, it feels like a higher level of confidence should be had for both the lineup and starting rotation, as both aspects of the team performed well.
One huge development is that Drake Baldwin seems ready to picked up where he left off last year. Already with two home runs, Baldwin looks right at home batting second and among the Braves best
bats. With the Athletics coming to town to start the week, another big series from Baldwin would be awesome as there will likely be plenty of runs scored.
