Good morning, baseball fans!
The 2026 MLB Playoffs continue Wednesday night with Game 5 of the World Series between the visiting Milwaukee Brewers, who hold a 3-1 series lead, and the Tampa Bay Rays, who managed to not get swept and hope to stay alive for another game.
The game starts at 5:00 p.m. PT, airing on Fox/Fox One, with national radio coverage available on ESPN Radio.
As of the time this is being written, the Rays have not yet announced a starting pitcher for tonight’s game. Whoever it ends
up being will face off against Brewers right-hander Jacob Misiorowski, who finished the regular season with a 1.80 ERA, 2.17 FIP, with 252 strikeouts to 44 walks in 174.2 innings pitched. His last postseason start was in Game 1 of this series, in which he allowed one run on four hits with three strikeouts and a walk in five innings.
Personally, I’m rooting for a full seven-game series, as unlikely as that might end up being. So I have to root for the Rays tonight. Because more baseball is better than less baseball.
Who are you rooting for?
