Bayern Munich fans had a scare when midfielder Aleksandar Pavlović left Germany’s 6-0 win over Slovakia at halftime.
Initially, there was some fear that there was an injury, which was snuffed out during the match by reports. Afterward, though, head coach Julian Nagelsmann admitted that Pavlović was dealing with a “calf issue.”
Pavlović, however, wants to assure everyone that he is all good.
“I’m fine. I just took a little knock, it was a precautionary measure,” Pavlović said as captured by @iMiaSanMia
As for how he would assess the team’s performance over the two games, Pavlović thinks things are back on track and would not leave Germany off the list of contenders to win the World Cup.
“I wouldn’t say no. There’s always a chance to win. If we play like we did today [against Slovakia], then a lot is possible,” Pavlović remarked.
