What is the story about?
The Cleveland Browns continue to make trades, this time just a few picks after their last trade. So, a quick recap of the Browns first three trades:
- Traded pick #6 for picks #9, 74, 148 with the Kansas City Chiefs
- Traded up to pick #58 (and got #152) in exchange for picks #70 and 107 with the San Francisco 49ers
- Traded pick #74 for picks #105, 145, and a 2027 4th round pick with the New York Giants
After picking OT Spencer Fano, WRs KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, and S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, many thought the final trade would end Cleveland’s Day 2 of the 2026 NFL draft.
Instead, GM Andrew Berry took two of the selections acquired from the Giants (105 and 145) plus pick #206 to move back into the third round, to acquire pick #86:
All in all, Cleveland added a future 4th-round pick by moving down 12 spots and giving up pick 206 in the sixth round. The Browns selected OT Austin Barber with their new third-round pick.
The team now has five picks scheduled on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL draft
