A total of six Zags have been announced on a G League roster, aiming to develop and potentially secure a spot on an NBA roster. More likely, try to gain the attention of EuroLeague teams and get paid.
Nolan Hickman – Capital City Go-Go
Ryan Nembhard – Texas Legends
Ryan Woolridge – Windy City Bulls
Malachi Smith – Long Island Nets
Drew Timme – South Bay Lakers
Anton Watson – South Bay Lakers
Watson and Timme are teaming up once again, this time with the Los Angeles Lakers’ G-League affiliate. The pair played together in the frontcourt in Spokane from 2019-2023.
Nembhard is on a two-way contract and will split his time with the Dallas Mavericks and their G-League affiliate. In his first three appearances in the NBA, he’s averaged 3.3 points and 1.7 assists/1.7 turnovers per game.
As for Hickman, he was picked No. 5 overall in the 2025 NBA G League Draft by the Washington Wizards’ G-League affiliate.
