Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley have been a non-factor in AEW ever since they officially joined the roster in late July. That changed tonight (Oct. 14) on Dynamite when they interrupted FTR and Big Stoke, who were busy cutting a promo on AEW World Tag Team Champions Young Bucks.
The Motor City Machine Guns issued
a challenge for a best 3 out of 5 series against Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, with the idea being that the winning team deserves a shot at the Bucks’ belts. The babyfaces wanted to start the series on tonight’s three hour special, but the heels said no and instead suggested they do the first match on Saturday (Oct. 17) at the WrestleDream pay-per-view. This is a big money match, after all.
How hyped are you to see MCMG vs. FTR potentially fives times on AEW programming in the near future? Let me know your thoughts on this dream series in the comments below, Cagesiders.
