It’s Thanksgiving in the U.S.! Most people are gathered around tables, inhaling carbs from potatoes and pie, trying to avoid awkward conversations around the family table while side-eyeing football games
on the TV. What a holiday!
In case the festivities are leaving you flat, we’re posting a series of questions related to the Portland Trail Blazers today. Feel free to join in the discussion if it brings you happiness (or gives you a credible escape)! “No guys. I, uh, I’m down a rabbit hole of True Shooting Percentage here. I think we may have solved the Blazers’ problems.”
Here’s a doozy of a question for you.
Who is the Trail Blazers Turkey so far this season?
Now, let’s be somewhat kind. That’s part of the rules of the exercise. “Turkey” isn’t entirely complimentary, but let’s not make it a huge insult. Define it like this: something that’s supposed to be a bedrock foundation, but might be just a little bit dry and overrated and definitely needs a little help (cream cheese and cranberry? honey mustard and horseradish?) in order to reach its potential. You know, someone or something that hasn’t quite lived up to expectations yet.
Your nominee can be anyone from or around the organization. Remember that the season is young and redemption could be just around the corner. Keep it lighthearted and not too mean and have fun with it!
