The Wisconsin Badgers have seen a number of changes in their front office over the past few years, and another major change came on Wednesday evening.
CBS Sports’s Matt Zenitz reported that the UCLA Bruins are set to hire Badgers Assistant Director of Player Personnel as their next Director of Player Personnel.
The move marks the latest promotion for Rose, who joined the Badgers as their Assistant Director of Player Personnel in 2024 after being a recruiting specialist for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Rose’s responsibilities grew after the departure of other executives, such as former Director of Player Personnel and General Manager Max Stienecker. Now, like Stienecker, Rose is headed for a bigger role on the West Coast in the Big Ten.
He’ll join the front office at UCLA, which hired former James Madison head coach Bob Cheney earlier this offseason.
Wisconsin now has another position to fill in their front office, as they’re also looking for their next general manager after Marcus Sedberry was appointed as the school’s interim Athletic Director following Chris McIntosh’s departure.
