Petrovic has been classified as a sophomore, meaning he has three years of eligibility remaining. Petrovic is 22 years old.
The Serbian point guard averaged 14.2 points, 7.3 assists, and 2.8 rebounds per game in his most recent season with KK Mega Basket in the ABA. Petrovic has also represented Serbia in FIBA competition several times over the past six years.
