Bayern Munich continue to carry out commanding wins over their opponents, the latest of which was in the Champions League where Cyprus-based club Pafos FC was on the receiving end of a 5-1 thumping by
the Bavarians. Eintracht Frankfurt is next up on the fixture list and they will host the Rekordmeister after a disappointing night of their own after losing 5-1 too, against Atletico Madrid.
Team news
We covered some of Bayern’s absentees and the players who are unavailable for selection are Jonas Urbig, Josip Stanišić (who will sit out the October international break), and Kim Min-jae (who is being rested as a precaution). With that in mind, here’s how Bayern could line up:

Given Frankfurt’s position in the league table, and a mind to make things right after their European embarrassment, Bayern coach Vincent Kompany will most likely not leave things to chance. Manuel Neuer starts in goal, with a defensive line of Konrad Laimer, Jonathan Tah, Dayot Upamecano, and a reborn Sacha Boey. The midfield will consist of Aleksandar Pavlović and Joshua Kimmich, sitting behind a front four of Luis Díaz, Serge Gnabry, Michael Olise, and the red-hot Harry Kane.
Possible changes:
- Tom Bischof in place of either Pavlović or Kimmich
- Nicolas Jackson at striker, Kane drops to CAM
- Lennart Karl at CAM
