Raphinha was once again the star of the show on Sunday, scoring twice as Barcelona beat Real Madrid 3-2 to win the Spanish Super Cup.
The victory saw the Brazil international get a little emotional as the final
whistle blew, while Hansi Flick was quick to come over and share a touching moment with his superstar.
Flick was also full of praise for Raphinha when he spoke to the media after the game.
“His mentality is impressive, and we have others like him; he influences the whole team,” he said. “He missed the first opportunity but took advantage of the second and gave us confidence. We were under a lot of pressure, as you’ve seen.”
Raphinha also scored twice in the semi-final win over Athletic, meaning his goals see him enter the history books. He’s only the second player ever to score four goals in a single edition of the tournament, after Aritz Aduriz in 2015.
