What is the story about?
AEW
rolled into Pearl Theater at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada, for yesterday’s episode of Dynamite, where they also taped this Saturday’s (Feb. 7) episode of Collision.
AEW has advertised multiple matches for the card on Saturday night. Let’s see how the results panned out, courtesy of spoilers from Wrestling Observer Radio and PW Insider.
- Young Bucks defeated Gates of Agony. The Bucks advance to a 3-way number one contender’s match next week on Dynamite against The Rascalz and a wild card team.
- AEW Women’s World Champion Kris Statlander was attacked by the Triangle of Madness during a backstage interview. They whipped her with a strap, which led to Stat announcing that her title defense against Thekla on next week’s Dynamite will be a Strap Match.
- Tommaso Ciampa retained the TNT championship in a 3-way match against Roderick Strong and Claudio Castagnoli, where Roddy took the fall. Kyle Fletcher came out and challenged Ciampa to a future title match. Ciampa accepted.
- Kevin Knight defeated Scorpio Sky.
- Mina Shirakawa picked up a win over Viva Van.
- Marina Shafir & Wheeler Yuta beat Dante Martin & Zayda Steel in a mixed tag team match. Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy ran out afterwards to save the babyfaces.
- Thekla defeated Brittnie Brooks. Thekla attacked Brooks with a strap after the match, until Statlander ran out for the save.
