The Portland Trail Blazers’ Rip City Television Network has expanded to KSTW Seattle 11 to broadcast more games in Washington’s King County in high-definition, the organization announced Tuesday.
Beginning with Portland’s matchup against the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, KSTW is scheduled to broadcast 20 Blazers games this season over the air on channel 11 in HD. KSTW is also carried on local cable providers. These games come in addition to the previously scheduled 18 games set to be available in HD on Seattle’s
CW KUNS-1, meaning the King County region will have access to at least 38 HD broadcasts this season.

The Rip City Television Network also expanded its reach this week to Central Oregon through COTV, which aired its first Blazers game in the market on Monday.

The Portland Trail Blazers have announced an additional home of Rip City Television Network in Seattle, Washington – KSTW Seattle 11 – bringing Trail Blazers games to King County in high definition. Tune in on November 26 when the team takes on the San Antonio Spurs for the first broadcast on Seattle 11 – the final Trail Blazers matchup during Group Play of the Emirates NBA Cup – at 7:00 p.m. PT.
Throughout King County, all non-exclusive, nationally televised Trail Blazers game broadcasts will continue to be available over-the-air. With this announcement, 20 games will now be available on KSTW (over-the-air Channel 11, Cable Channels 111 and 1011) broadcast in full HD, with the previously scheduled 18 games still available on CW KUNS-1, also in HD – bringing at least 38 total HD broadcasts for fans in the region. Additional games available in the market are currently being evaluated for HD delivery. Games will be accessible via an over-the-air antenna, local cable or satellite providers, and digital platforms such as Fubo and Hulu, that carry KSTW and KUNS. Portland Trail Blazers broadcasters and NW Emmy Winners Kevin Calabro and Lamar Hurd, along with Brooke Olzendam, are in their ninth season calling all Trail Blazers games across the Rip City Television Network. Trail Blazers Broadcasting continues to produce the pregame, halftime, and postgame show for each game.
