The Buffalo Bills watched and waited for the 2026 NFL Draft board to fall to them, and then they decided to trade back. The Houston Texans came calling, and Aaron Wilson reports they sent the Bills the 28th pick, pick 69, and pick 167 (all in this year’s draft) in exchange for picks 26 and 91.
With the 28th pick in the the draft, the Bills chose to move back again by trading pick 28 to the New England Patriots in return for pick 31 and pick 125. That set Buffalo up to make their first pick with the second-to-last
pick in Round 1.
However, the Bills weren’t content staying put at 31. Instead they pulled off yet another trade back, this time moving out of the first round altogether in a deal with the Tennessee Titans. Buffalo’s haul from its third trade of Round 1 netted them picks 35, 66, and 101 from Tennessee in exchange for picks 31, 69 (from trade with Texans), and 165.
With that, the Bills’ night was finished. Buffalo’s 2026 NFL Draft selections after completing three trades back, and out of Round 1 without making a selection are:
Pick 35 (via trade) (Round 2, Pick 3)
Pick 66 (via trade) (Round 3, Pick 2)
Pick 101 (via trade) (Round 4, Pick 1)
Pick 125 (via pre-draft trade w/Chicago Bears) (Round 4, Pick 25
Pick 126 (Round 4, Pick 26)
Pick 167 (via trade) (Round 5, Pick 27)
Pick 168 (Round 5, Pick 28)
Pick 182 (via pre-draft trade w/Las Vegas Raiders for Taron Johnson) (Round 6, Pick 1)
Pick 220 (via pre-draft trade w/New York Jets for Brandon Codrington) (Round 7, Pick 4)
