New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh made headlines and raised eyebrows at the 2026 owners meeting.
Harbaugh grabbed headlines by saying that former Giants’ and Baltimore Ravens receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is a potential option for the Giants and the two have been in contact.
Beckham’s name has come up repeatedly in connection to the Giants over the last several years as the team has struggled to field a good receiving corps.
The eyebrow raising statement, however, is that the Giants are going into
the 2026 season with the expectations of making the playoffs.
“Our expectation is always going to be, every game we go into, to win. Every single game, we’re going to plan on going in to win that game… I’m pretty sure if we win every game, we’re going to make the playoffs, right? If my math is right.”
It’s something Harbaugh has stated before, going back to his introductory press conference. But could a team that’s won 7 games in the last two years really kame a push for the playoffs?
And for that matter, would a 34-year old Odell Beckham Jr. help the Giants accomplish that goal?
Those are our questions for you this week: Can the Giants make the 2026-2027 playoffs, and should they sign Odell Beckham Jr.?
