One of Robert Saleh’s potential candidates to be the next offensive coordinator of the Tennessee Titans is off the board. Bobby Slowik is reportedly being hired by Jeff Hafley to be the next OC for the Miami
Dolphins. Hafley, you might remember, was one of three finalists for the head coaching job here. He never came in for his second interview because he took the job in Miami the day before it was scheduled.
We had not seen any reported ties to Tennessee with Slowik, but he and Saleh were on the same staff with the San Francisco 49ers before Saleh left to be the head coach of the New York Jets.
The guy at the top of the list for OC with the Titans is still Brian Daboll. Daboll interviewed for the head coach job with the Buffalo Bills and the Las Vegas Raiders. The Titans are said to be the favorite to land Daboll as an OC if he doesn’t get a head coaching job.
Saleh has reportedly talked to Arthur Smith about the OC job here as well. Other candidates include former Washington Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury and Green Bay Packers OC Adam Stenavich.
