The San Francisco Giants wrap up their penultimate series of the year against the Minnesota Twins this afternoon.
Taking the mound for the Giants will be left-hander César Perdomo, who enters today’s game with a 3.72 ERA, 4.96 FIP, with 12 strikeouts to seven walks in 19.1 innings pitched. His last start was in the Giants’ 8-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday, in which he allowed two runs on six hits with a strikeout and three walks in four and two thirds innings.
He’ll be facing off against
Twins left-hander Connor Prielipp, who enters today’s game with a 4.94 ERA, 3.76 FIP, with 125 strikeouts to 42 walks in 120.1 innings pitched. His last start was in the Twins’ 3-0 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Friday, in which he allowed just two hits and two walks with eight strikeouts in seven innings.
