Bayern Munich recorded a statement win over RB Leipzig, sending the visitors home with 0 points and six goals conceded. Nathaniel Brown started this match and watched how his team settled in quickly. For him, that is basically an indication of his team’s intent.
Speaking after the game, the 23-year-old told Sky Germany that Bayern in their stride are nearly unstoppable. “Once we get into our rhythm, things get very, very difficult for our opponents,” Brown said (as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia).
At surface level, it seems like a harmless quote. At most, it is a player showing confidence. But what if this is all Bayern needs to do against Arsenal? The Gunners aren’t entirely unbeatable, as a handful of clubs gave them the big L in several matches last season. Doing this without Michael Olise added another layer of difficulty to the task, but never rule Bayern out.
