What a weekend for the bat and ball sports! Baseball and softball both swept their weekend opponents. Most notably, Rhonda Revelle notched her 1200th win as the Husker head coach. That is incredibly impressive, not only because of the sheer number of wins, but that they came at one school.
However, the hottest ticket in Lincoln this past weekend wasn’t on the diamond but on the court. The Governor played her last home game for LOVB Nebraska. Jordan Larson is retiring after 15 seasons in professional
volleyball. It should surprise no one, but the arena was full. I don’t know what her future plans are, but she will always be a legend in Nebraska.
Lastly, it looks like March Madness will get even bigger. What do you think of having 76 teams in the tournament?
