We’re closing in on the next big premium live event on the schedule for NXT, Halloween Havoc, which is scheduled for Oct. 31, 2026, presumably at the WWE Performance Center. Now we know the top two title matches for the show.
NXT Women’s Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) vs. Wren Sinclair
Sinclair was supposed to be suspended, so she used a Lady Shani disguise to enter a battle royal to find a top contender to Jordan’s title and won it. NXT General Manager Robert Stone said he had a tough decision to make in the wake of the deception but if you know anything about
Stone it’s that he just lets the talent do whatever they want and books matches around it.
Naturally, then, he went ahead and lifted the suspension and made the match official for this show. Notably, we learned later in the evening that Kendal Grey is no longer in therapy and has been cleared. She’s currently playing the role of supportive friend with regards to Sinclair going after the title she just lost.
NXT Championship: Grayson Waller (c) vs. Tony D’Angelo
Tony D’Angelo and Myles Borne staked their claim to a title shot last week in a promo that ultimately led to a number one contender’s match being made. Tony D emerged victorious in that match — though the finish looked like someone may have messed up — and he moves on to challenge the man he lost the title to in a Fatal 4-Way back at Heatwave.
