The BBN got its first look at the Kentucky Wildcats on Tuesday night as the Cats took the floor for an open Pro Day. While we didn’t get to see all of this team’s abilities, we did get a chance to see some
highlights from players who should make a major impact for the team this season.
Now, in steps Evan Miyakawa’s top-100 preseason players rankings to back up this team’s strengths and highlight their depth as well. We all know Miyakawa’s website for the advanced stats and rankings he brings to the table. Well, now the fanbase will also like him with this ranking, as five UK players cracked the top-100 in his initial rankings for the season.
Leading the way for the Cats at No. 46 overall is Otega Oweh. He is then followed by Mohamed Dioubate (No. 58), Brandon Garrison (No. 70), Jayden Quaintance (No. 82), and Jaland Lowe (No. 87).
This team has been talked about all summer for its depth. Now we actually have some numbers to back that up.
Go Cats!
