The Premier Lacrosse League is wrapping up their seventh summer campaign this weekend with their Championship Game in Harrison, NJ.
The game, which will take place Sunday at 12:30 PM on ABC and the ESPN App, should be an incredible way to bring down the curtain on the 2025 season as the league’s two best teams meet to decide a champion.
The New York Atlas and the Denver Outlaws, the number one seeds in their respective conferences, have been the top contenders all summer and will close the season with
a star-studded battle for supremacy.
Among the stars is a trio of Syracuse Orange alumni who will be looking to help hoist the trophy this weekend.
Sunday’s title clash will be all-or-nothing for the ‘Cuse boys as all three play for the Atlas. Midfielder Jake Stevens, LSM Michael Grace and goalie Will Mark are repping for SU and advocating for the work the Orange have done in the transfer portal in recent years.
While Mark has barely seen the field as the backup to Liam Entenmann, both Stevens and Grace have played important roles in helping to fill out the absolutely jam-packed Atlas roster.
Stevens has had a solid season as a member of New York’s midfield, currently with the third-most touches and fourth-most points out of that group. He has nine goals and 10 ground balls as he continues to be a Swiss Army knife at the professional level.
Grace has had an excellent rookie season with 10 points, two two-point goals, four assists, 18 ground balls and six caused turnovers in just eight games played. He’s proved an invaluable resource for the Bulls on defense, picking up loose balls and in transition helping to ignite their offense. He’s having one of the best point-producing seasons by a long-pole in PLL history.
Best of luck to Jake, Michael and Will on Sunday as they play for the PLL Championship!
