Ever since Ilja Dragunov left WWE in August, there has been plenty of speculation about AEW signing him, with the rumor mill indicating it’s definitely happening as soon as his visa issues are sorted out.
Well, that time may finally be upon us. Check out this mysterious video that aired towards the end of tonight’s 3.5 hour block of AEW Dynamite and Collision on TBS.
AEW happens to have its annual WrestleDream pay-per-view
coming up this Saturday (Oct. 17). Whether this tease is for the Mad Dragon or not, could the big reveal happen as soon as this weekend? Or will there be more vignettes to properly build up intrigue?
What do you think, Cagesiders? Let me know in the comments below if you think this video is for Dragunov’s AEW debut, or if there is some other possible explanation for where this is going.
