Looking for a ticket for Saturday? Good luck.
No. 2 Indiana is set for a game of the century style matchup against No. 1 Ohio State at the Big Ten Football Championship Game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Saturday. Both the Hoosiers and Buckeyes enter the game at 12-0 in the most high-ranked title game matchup the Big Ten has ever seen. The last two times a conference championship involved No. 1 vs. No. 2 both involved the SEC, with each matchup being between Alabama and Florida.
With the
game being in the program’s home state, there’s reason to believe there will be plenty of Hoosier fans around downtown Indy. With Ohio State boasting one of the nation’s larger fanbases and being just a short drive away, they’re also expected to turn out in droves. It may be hard to tell Ohio State scarlet from Indiana crimson, but the stadium should be packed.
But it’s gonna be hard to get a ticket at this point in time.
As of Friday morning, the lowest price for a single ticket over on Ticketmaster is a dizzying $639.03. The price over at StubHub is marginally better at $613, fees included. Seatgeek? $600 including fees.
There’s a chance prices go down the day of but, like, by how much? One way or another, Indiana is the hottest ticket in the state this weekend.
