What is the story about?
Between hiring new head coach Jesse Minter and trading for edge rusher Maxx Crosby, the Ravens may have already made their most important moves of the offseason
But Baltimore will still have 20 players officially hit the open market on Wednesday, several of whom played key roles last year and multiple of whom already have signed deals elsewhere. DeCosta will need to make tough decisions on several of those players, chief among them, center Tyler Linderbaum.
Here’s an overview of where free agency stands
for the Ravens:
Signings/extensions/trades
- EDGE Maxx Crosby (traded from Raiders)
- QB Tyler Huntley (two years, $5 million)
- OG John Simpson (three years, $30 million)
Departures
- TE Isaiah Likely (to Giants): three years, $40 million ($47.5 million max value)
- P Jordan Stout (to Giants): three years, $12.3 million
- EDGE Dre’Mont Jones (to Patriots): three years, $39 million
