Today, Bay FC and the North Carolina Courage have announced a trade – regarding defender Brooklyn Courtnall.
In return, NC Courage have acquired $100,000 in intraleague transfer funds.
Courtnall signed with NCC in December of 2024 before going on loan midway through the 2025 season with Bay FC (seven appearances). After four terrific years at USC, the California native is now back
on the West Coast, but this time as a professional.
With the hiring of Emma Coates, expect Brooklyn Courtnall to continue to build a center back partnership with Canadian International, Sydney Collins. They’ll join a rotation with Kelli Hubly, and eventually the returns of Abby Dahlkemper (maternity) and Emily Menges (maternity).
