We’ve got elimination game drama on deck today! The Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians needed all five games to see who will advance to take on the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League Championship Series.
Just as their AL Central battle came down to the final games of the season, the ALDS matchup between these two division rivals is the only series in this round to come down to a win-or-go-home deciding game.
So far, the road team has controlled the series. Chicago won the first two games
of the series in Cleveland, before the Guardians went on the road and took the next two in the White Sox’ house. Will that trend continue with the scrappy Sox stealing the series as road warriors? Or will the Guardians finally take advantage of some home cooking?
The quest to join the final four teams left in the postseason concludes tonight.
