Friday night (Nov. 28, 2025) is a busy time for lucha libre in Mexico. AAA and CMLL both have shows with talent from WWE and AEW respectively. Let’s go through the cards.
AAA hits Puebla on Friday for the
next TV taping. The lineup includes:
- Hijo del Vikingo vs. El Grande Americano
- AAA World Tag Team Championship: Psycho Clown & Pagano (c) vs. Brutus Creed & Julius Creed
- Dragon Lee vs. Mecha Wolf
- Flammer & La Hiedra vs. Faby Apache & Lola Vice
- El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Forastero
- La Parka, Mr. Iguana, & Niño Hamburguesa vs. Galeno del Mal, Cruz Del Toro, & Joaquin Wilde
- Jack Cartwheel vs. Elio Lefleur vs. Chris Carter (winner earns future cruiserweight title shot in three-way against Laredo Kid (c) and Je’Von Evans)
- Rey Mysterio to appear
The big draw is Vikingo returning home to fight that poser El Grande Americano. It will be interesting to see if the home crowd favors Vikingo or if they turn on him to root for EGA, like what has happened in Mexico City and other parts of the country.
Good news is that AAA will once again air the live stream for free on YouTube starting at 10:15 pm ET. Expect half the card to be aired live with the other half taped for a later date.
Over in CMLL, they are running the usual Friday night slot from Arena Mexico in Mexico City. Mistico has a chance to win the Torneo Leyenda Azul, and Claudio Castagnoli is bringing the Death Riders for two title bouts.
The advertised CMLL card includes:
- Torneo Leyenda Azul: Mistico vs. Soberano Jr. vs. Barbaro Cavernario
- CMLL World Heavyweight Championship: Gran Guerrero (c) vs. Claudio Castagnoli
- CMLL World Tag Team Championship: Angel de Oro & Niebla Roja (c) vs. Wheeler Yuta & Daniel Garcia
- Capitan Suicida, Fugaz, & El Audaz vs. Vegas Depredador, Villano III Jr., & Yutani
- La Jarochita vs. Olympia in a lightning match
- Astral & Fury Boy vs. Draego & Troyano
- Shockercito vs. Minos II in a lightning match
The broadcast will stream live worldwide at 9:30 pm ET through the CMLL YouTube subscription (Campeón Mundial and Leyenda levels). Outside Mexico, the show will be available through TrillerTV.
