In an interesting surprise, the Ducks won the toss and elected to receive. The Cowboys started with an out-of-bounds penalty on the kick and Oregon started on their 35 yard line.

OSU started on their own 44 yard line and picked up their first 1st-down, but the Oregon defense tightened and the Cowboys elected to punt a touchback, putting the Ducks on their 25. Whitting ran for 9 yards, and although an Oregon false start penalty was troublesome, the Ducks followed with Jayden Limar taking the ball outside for 53 yards. Two plays later, Dierre Hill Jr. rushed right for 19 yards and a TD.
Another 2-point conversion was attempted and would have been good were it not for Oregon’s illegal shift, so the Ducks opted for the PAT. Oregon 20, Oklahoma State 0.
The Cowboys were more successful on their next drive. They converted on fourth and one, and then overcame a false start penalty to get to the Oregon 29-yard line. The first quarter ended with Oregon up 20-0.
Oklahoma State pushed to the Oregon 5-yard line for first and goal. The Ducks rebuffed the Cowboys three times, and OSU had to settle for the field goal and make it a 20-3 ball game.

Oregon’s fifth drive started at their 25, where they immediately incurred a false start penalty. No matter; Moore’s 26-yard pass to Kenyon Sadiq gave the Ducks a first down, and after a couple of rushes Moore connected with Malik Benson for a 42-yard TD shot.
The PAT was good, giving Oregon a 27-3 lead.
OSU started their drive on their 17-yard line, but they shot themselves in the foot with a couple of false start penalties and got nowhere. They were forced to punt deep in their own territory, and the Ducks started on their own 37-yard line.
Oregon’s offense was full steam and dominant, and marched down the field, highlighted by a Dakorien Moore 25-yard touchdown run.
The PAT was good and the Ducks were up 34-3.
OSU could generate nothing, and went three-and-out again.
With 4:20 left to halftime, Oregon flawlessly burned up the clock with rushing, but a short pass on 4th and one extended the drive. The Ducks were able to capitalize with a Limar touchdown run with 11 seconds left, and went into halftime with a 41-3 lead.
At halftime, the Cowboys only mustered 123 total yards (51 passing, 72 rushing). They had five first downs and five penalties for 25 yards – all false start calls. Zane Flores was 4-12, and Trent Howland led the Cowboy rushers with six carries for 31 yards.

Atticus Sappington missed a 57-yard field goal. The Cowboys started on their 19-yard line, went three and out, and punted again.
Again at midfield, Moga hit Jeremiah McClellan in wide-open spaces for 51 yards to the OSU two-yard line. Two plays later, Jordon Davison ran the ball in on 2nd and goal, putting the Ducks up 55-3.
The game got worse for OSU, and it wasn’t even the fourth quarter yet! On the first play of the next drive, Jerry Mixon intercepted for a pick-6 and Oregon went up 62-3.
I don’t recall Oregon ever getting two pick-sixes on consecutive drives before, much less on the first play of consecutive drives – but that’s exactly what happened. This time, Peyton Woodyard stepped in front of the pass to take it to the house.
The fourth quarter was well beyond garbage time, with neither side scoring, and the third quarter score would be today’s final score.
