The Arkansas State Red Wolves picked up a critical win on Tuesday night, taking down Sun Belt West foe South Alabama 15-14 inside Hancock Whitney Stadium.
The game was won on a walk off field goal from Claude Van Andel to seal 12 unanswered points from the Red Wolves, who trailed 14-3 going into the final quarter.

Things fell apart for the Jags in the fourth as they failed to score and couldn’t stop the Red Wolves, who got 60 yards on the final drive to set up the 38-yard game winner.
South Alabama is now 1-6 in 2025 while Arkansas State improved to 3-4 with the win.
