Just like in Week One, the Chargers are making a late addition to the final injury report due to a player coming down with an illness. Per The Athletic’s Daniel Popper, linebacker and captain Daiyan Henley is now being listed as questionable for Monday night’s game against the Raiders.
Against the Chiefs, right guard Mekhi Becton followed a similar timeline but managed to still start in Brazil but saw a small rotation with Jamaree Salyer when he needed a breather. As of now, the Chargers are already
thin at linebacker with Denzel Perryman having suffered a high ankle sprain against the Chiefs and Del’Shawn Phillips already questionable entering Monday night with a toe injury.
Behind Perryman and Henley are veteran Troy Dye, veteran Marlowe Wax, and Kana’i Mauga whom the team elevated for Monday Night Football. If Henley cannot go, expect the Chargers to use a lot of Dime personnel which would essentially keep Derwin James inside the box and six total defensive backs on the field.
